Running:
Wario > Lucas > Lucario
Charizard > Roy > MK
Game & Watch > Ryu > Shulk

Chars in parentheses are the existing ones they beat, pretty sure walking order goes Wario > Lucas > Ryu > Ganon. Ryu seems barely faster than the old man.

Air Speed:
Shulk > Lucas > Robin (didn't test Gunner)
ZSS > Roy > Greninja
Ryu is about the same as Mega Man

Fall Speed:
Bowser > Lucas > Zelda
Falcon > Roy (same as Mac?) >ZSS
Ryu is about the same as DK (DK accelerates slower)

I'm really unsure about my air speed tests. Lucas is probably closer to Ness, but Roy's air speed is good and Ryu just accelerates slowly.

Made any progress on the newcomers' stats?

I started on Ryu's data/stats and then crashed lol. im tired.

I was just kind of curious since I saw a post you made mentioning that Ryu's air speed is better than Falcon's (and you listed him as having the same air speed as Game & Watch on your website). I put him as close to Mega Man but wasn't sure since he seemed to accelerate slowly.

Yeah. G&W has the highest air deceleration in the game. Maybe I should add that stat to my character pages.

Maybe I'll add that and item throw strengths.

Character. Throw a banana at something with Bowser and Zelda and you'll see what I mean.

Oh, it goes farther (and possibly faster) with Bowser, I didn't know that (though it makes sense). I assume it's not directly correlated with weight?

It's a multiplier in Brawl. I remember Zelda being like 0.7x.

Air Speed: underrated Roy, was close for Ryu, and spot-on for Lucas (wow). How do you know Ryu is 1.12?

Walk Speed: right for Ryu/Lucas and very close for Roy

Running Speed: underrated Ryu slightly and was very close for Lucas
