Thank you~

I'm gonna see if Kirby's "Monado Buffs" are exact copies of Shulk's so I can see if the weight is generally going to be buffed in the same way. I guess Speed Kirby will be the easiest to test...?
KuroganeHammer
KuroganeHammer
Should be but Kirby usually has inferior abilities

"Kirby usually has inferior abilities"
literally what?
KuroganeHammer
KuroganeHammer
his hats arent usually as good as the original

idk

I can literally guarantee you that his monado speed will be slower than shulks
Asdioh
Asdioh
If so, it's only because his natural runspeed is slower.
His hats are always exactly the same as the original, it's just the properties of the character himself that change them. Like the range on his DK Punch probably isn't as good because his arms are shorter? But the numbers and knockback should all be exactly the same.

Anyway we were trying to see if monado Shield added a flat +44 to the weight. That would probably be too easy though.
KuroganeHammer
KuroganeHammer
well yes, the knockback numbers are the same, but often ranges etc are much shorter, hence inferior =P

I'm not exactly sure how you plan on finding this, if it's a flat 44 then he should be 1 point lighter than DK. Are there any "scales" that you can weigh people on?
Asdioh
Asdioh
there were in n64!
Aaaand I just tested the Garden of Hop
and DK just seems to outweigh Kirby no matter what, unless it's just "whoever jumps on first" then that's dumb

what about the clouds in that stupid kirby stage?
