used a move with the same bkb and kbg as in brawl, on a character under the effects of a metal box and recorded the % they got knocked down.

then compared it to brawl, if a weight didnt exist in brawl, i simply hacked it in to check

example, bowser got knocked down at 395%, so i hacked brawl bowser to have a weight of 128 and ran the same test there and he also was knocked down at 395 so i deduced the weight had to be 128。

Alright sorry to keep pestering you with this but I'm just really impressed with all you've done. By knocked down, you mean suffered enough knockback to pratfall/tumble, right?

And I know that the max launcher speed value in smash4 is basically the KB value of a move, but how did you find out a moves BKB and KBG in smash4?

Again I'm really impressed and wanted to thank you for all the amazing stuff you're pumping out for the game so early on.

Soz, I fell asleep while responding to this, lol

But yeah, knocked down is into tumble. I don't actually know the moves BKB and KBG but I assume it's the same as Brawl's since unmodified the two moves knocked down almost every vet at the same percent over the two games.

Only a couple of weight changes were made, mostly olimar, ike, marth and yoshi had weights shuffled around which to me makes sense because of the character redesigns/balance changes

Bowser Jr scares me because it's the first time a weight has been not a whole number since Smash 64, but... again, hacking the weight 107.5 into Brawl gave me the same knockdown percents, so it has to be right.

Also no worries, Brawl's weight list took about 4 months after release. I made sure I worked on mine within 12 hours, so I'm proud of that fact. :D

Hah its cool. And regarding bkb and kbg, do you think the first could be approximated by doing something like hitting a metal box shulk in whatever art makes him heaviest, then recording that MLS value?
