I just need huge tips in general considering i'm gonna start getting into compeitive at the next Apex of all places haha

Well I'd suggest playing friendlies with as many people as you can, just to get a good picture of what you're up against. The best people you've played against are the ones you should worry about. Play more friendlies with them if you can. Don't be afraid to ask questions and show your personality.

This is actually advice that was given to me, for I myself have yet to join the scene as well lol.

I see, sadly I can't friendlies much with pros till Apex because my current stuff at Job Corps controls my life haha

I'm pretty sure you can friendly people meanwhile you're at the tournament. That's mainly how people pass time untill they're called up.

Shyness can be an issue if you let it. Don't let it overcome you and you'll be alright.
