Thanks man! It will be my first Melee tournament so I'm not expecting much, more of a learning experience than anything. Hoping to make it out of my pools in Marvel though. Are you going to Evo?

Sorry I didn't respond sooner to you, but to answer your question Melee was interesting fora first time experience, I had a close set with a Fox my first match but ultimately lost 1-2 to him. Then I got a bye so I automatically went to losers third round and got decimated by a Falco. It wasn't even close lol I could hardly move. It was really crazy seeing what truly good smash players are like.

I'm planning on going to locals to level myself up too! Did you go to Evo? If so how did things go for you?

Nah I didn't go. I almost went, but things didn't go down with it. I'm glad I didn't, because well, I had a family health scare that I'm glad I was home for. As for EVO, well, do you remember the Falco=??? I think there were a few noticeable players in your pool.

Sorry to hear about your family health issues, that's scary. Hope those get ironed out! As for the Falco, I really have no idea to be totally honest. I started following Melee more recently so I'm only really aware of the really big names. I asked him for advice after the match, but after that I dipped out temporarily since my roommate wanted to get food.

Eh, it was scary, but it wasn't anything permanent.

At the time it would suck to play with that, but in the end, it doesn't matter... because it has no permanent repercussions.

Also, lol, one day you're gonna have to find your pool. It was on the second to last horizontal row, so at least it narrows it down to say 8 pools if you ever find the original pool document(s).
