Pro: Easier for the person coming back to stage

Con: Way easier for the person ledgeguarding.

Also, in my opinion, ledge-hogging is a pro, and ledge-trumping is a con.

I'm just noticing that all my Smash online battles boil down to the opponent just grabbing the ledge to abuse the ledge invicibility, I don't know if that's because I main Little Mac, or just a common behavior, so I'm thinking that removing ledges in exchange for characters having better air mobility can help my game

Maybe this can synergise with other systems, like a issue I have is fleshing the meter mechanic outside of enhanced specials and pwering the shield, so one idea is using some meter for an extra jump with some minor armor, so you have a lot more to balance when managing meter

Little Mac is pretty good at ledgeguarding, his Side B is super fast to react with and his down smash is pretty easy to 2-frame with.

Rivals does it well, but even in that game I feel really scared without ledges. I think why they remove it is so games don't feel so boring, cause in Smash you basically have 5-6 options from the ledge maximum, which works for Ultimate but not something fast-paced and aerial-focused like Rivals.
