Thanks. I will keep this in mind. I think I'll work a couple stages a day and rotate them every day to keep me sharp. I'm just sick of missing wavelands or fall throughs that would normally have been safe that turn into 50% out of nowhere. It's really hurting my Marth matchup in particular.

No he can do real pivot ftilts. But as I said, it's not really a staple of his gameplay and he doesn't do it very often so it gets overlooked. Not to discredit Tipman, though. His consistency is incredible.

Swedish Delight has gotten good at pivot ftilt in recent years. I don't think it stands out the way it does in Tipman's gameplay, though.

I think whatever ledge dash method gets you invincibility and consistency is fine. I personally hold down to drop and use nothing but the control stick. It's very hard to do and very few people can do it. That's the only reason. It is way better than pivot ftilt because it sets up for combos and is an anti air. It's easily falco's best grounded pivot.

Ledge stall camping is not real as ganon. You can get the ledge snagged from you super easy. And resetting invincibility requires a tight timing. It's not hard to do, but if you try to mix up the timings to throw people off, they will just start hitting you for not being invincible.

I highly recommend you spring for 20xx if you want to practice the punish game. If not, just watch videos and pay attention to tech animations and how they are covered at different percents. It will probably help more than giving yourself bad habits in vanilla melee. After that, the #1 thing...

Lmao I used to never talk to wobblers after a set. But I think going forward I will just so I can show them this thread. I think your time writing this thread would have been better spent learning the matchup. Not because learning matchups is rewarding or anything like that...but because ICs...

Turn around ftilt is insanely easy. I don't think you really need to practice them. Pivots might help a bit but i don't think they will do that much. Pivot ftilt is truly underutilized though.
