    Having difficulty getting handoffs

    If Nana is doing a down tilt it means that you are pressing down too hard when you throw. This is causing her to crouch, which means that she will downtilt instead of grabbing. Try to practice throwing using the lightest tilt that you can and this problem should go away.

    Just learn what can desync you, which is an extension of learning Nana's capabilities I guess. I will probably be missing some, but you can desync with rolls, spot dodges, grabs, up-b out of shield, dash dance, f-tilt backwards, taunt (my favourite), a whole family of really hard desyncs similar...

    SHFFLs are always important for any character. Other than that, chain grabs, and learning how Nana behaves are what you should focus on.

    I think that sheik can also do pretty well against peach. Of course, you can always just play the peach ditto, I can guarantee you that that matchup is 50/50!

    I am pretty sure that the AI doesn't change at all, it is the same character, just a different colour. Speaking of which, orange is far better looking than red for ICs, and still has Nana as the lead :p

    Do you mean down air? Are you talking about short hop down air? If so, it is not an infinite.

    Ah, ok. In melee the hitbox lasts until frame 59, and goes away when she starts to fall on frame 60, so I assumed it was the same.
