I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, characters have a cancelable dash attack. I think that dash cancels can also lead into tilts.

Yeah, other than the tilts, she's a different character. Her ariels' knockback somewhat resembles shieks, but their playing style are completely different.

To me she is a replacement for falcon in melee. Her speed and moves are similar, along with her combo ability. The plus is that she has amazing recovery and a lot more range. That bad is obviously the lack of kneeage and stompin'.

Yeah, not a true solution to olimar's recovery since you need purple pimkin at the right time and you need to be above or next to the the opponent.

Squirtle is pretty good at going against Olimar, even though Charzard and Ivysaurus cannot compare. His speed and quick ariels along with his amazing dsmash makes him a good future counter. However, since only few people have the japanese version of brawl as of now, it's too hard to say whether...
