PKT2 is so much weaker than Ness', same for the bat it feels, USmash takes an hour to come out, no kill throw except at about 170% or at the edge of the stage and / or with rage, no throw combos at high %; how does Lucas kill exactly ? It's weird that Ness could get all those early KOs, but...

Could someone post the link of the thread that explained Ledge Cancel using Flip Jump ? I read it some time ago and can't seem to find it.

I'm thinking he said this because Side B can be used both ways, whereas zair can only be thrown forward; allowing for various things, like recovering during an edgeguard or simply running towards the ledge and using the tether to grab it instantly.

I'm having trouble with short-hoping. When I do it, I can't get it low enough for zair or nair to connect at character height; it's always just a little bit over their head, even with the slightest input on the jump button. Is there a specific way to do it or something ?

Not really; it deals good damage but it's too predictable and only kills at high percentage. I think uptilt is generally better as it's hitbox has horizontal length whereas upsmash you can't use after something like a spotdodge on the ground. Although : I do think it can be an effective bluff...
