    How do you DI Shieks down throw?

    Like the title says. I feel like Shieks down throw always leads into a fair, which leads into some early kills. Is there any way to DI out of this, or is the only option to not get grabbed?

    Help stopping the Falco spike

    I'm petty new to competitive smash, but I'm getting pretty good with the fundamentals to the point where I can beat my casual friends easily. However, I have one friend who plays Falco, and I can't beat him because he just camps the ledge ~ grab ~ b throw ~ spike. I'm not sure what to do...

    Where do I start, as a beginner?

    I've been practicing wave dashing and l canceling by myself, but I'm not sure how to apply them and I still can't manage to best my friends who just spam f smash and grab. Sorry if this is an over asked question, but how can I apply these techniques and get better?
