I just thought of another question. Do people ever make up team names for their little group of friends and show up at tournaments with matching coats with a team insignia on them? Does that make you look like jerks? Do people know it's all in good fun? What do players think of stuff like that?

Hmm. I live in Middle MN and I think we'd be willing to drive around 10 hours to tournaments. Unless the tourneys were REALLY big, then we'd drive farther.

How do I know which tournaments are worth going to and which aren't? I really don't want to drive quite a distance and end up getting a tournament with only 10-15 people in it. And what are the chances that I would ever see one of the top players? If possible, it would be really neat to meet...
