I pulled off getting the Amiibo, and that's my dumb cat behind it. I got to Target at 7:00 AM, and waited till ten minutes before opening hours. Luckily, there were 8 of us waiting and 16 in stock, so everything worked out there. Strangely they only had 2 Toon Links...

I'm probably going to use the 3DS. I've never gotten too attached to any controller, even using the dreaded Wiimote/Nunchuck back in Brawl, and I figure I've gotten used to the 3DS by now. That said, my brother will probably be using the Gamecube controller, he always uses those.

I do find it problematic in For Fun mode when one player does nothing but counter and the other players constantly fall for it, thus giving the person spamming it kills.

I think the point is it looks like something made in MS Paint. Really I'm not excited for Pac-land at all, it just looks like an eyesore. Sure sometimes games don't age well, but why not just update the design, like with most other retro style levels?

Am I the only one that gets into a match with three Japanese players, and for some reason all they do the entire match is mash the down button. Like they aren't even trying to fight, they are literally standing in one spot and crouching constantly. Am I missing some sort of injoke?

I agree, but I just don't see it happening. At least without some outside influence. See, I think Ridley's just covered in too many design issues to implement him into the games, and unless Sakurai makes Metroid Uprising I doubt we'll see him forced into the game, but perhaps if an example...

Nope, it's includes all the content needed to be it's own game and I can bring it with me anywhere. The Wii U version has extra space, so extra content, and for 60 dollars to get these and to play the game with friends on a couch, I think it's a fair deal. I guess since I have use for both and...

I think the problem is Metroid really could use another playable rep, but Samus is the only popular character in that series that could have worked, besides Dark Samus, who was clearly shown to be capable of being her own character with her assist... I hate to throw out the too big argument...

My sub-main Mewtwo is finally returning! All the co-op options, online and off, I can help my brother suck less and I can play the game with my nephew (though with the latter I would never take online, he's 8 and can barely play NSMB Wii). Jungle Hijinks and Great Cave Offensive, just... wow...
