The Official SBR Brawl Tier List v1.0

How is this even getting that much discussion lol ._. Anyone who even begins to argue that he's three separate characters can get shot down so easily. Tier list is cool...a few things I wasn't expecting, like TL being mid.

    Ivysaur is underrated

I don't think Ivysaur is underrated as you think, for the reasons you listed. I've never heard anyone say Ivysaur has a bad aerial game.

    Any tricks to Squirtle's recovery?

On some stages you can approach from below and wall cling...

Pokemon Trainer: an In-Depth Analysis & Guide

It's more than that. This is actually starting the dash attack, then cancelling it into an up-smash to keep the momentum, and C-stick to smash is needed for that. Characters can slide anywhere from 1/4 to over 1/2 of FD while charging their upsmash like this.

Pokemon Trainer: an In-Depth Analysis & Guide

Yeah I used B-sticking and mentioned it because I figured it only gives one more option to a character without really taking away anything that couldn't be fixed by a change in playstyle. With this though, I set my C-stick back to smash today lol.

Why can't I finish the job with Squirtle?

I've recently been mixing hyphen upsmashing with hydroplaning and getting a lot of kills in the low 100%'s that way. Just save it until you're around 100% for light characters, higher for the heavier ones. For characters like Metaknight, ROB, Pit, etc. who can basically recover from anywhere...

    Strategic Switching

Yeah Smash Ball/Dragoon pieces stay with you when you switch.

    Bullet seed max damage?

At least 10% with a properly DI-ing opponent. If you catch them low in the stream, if they can't DI, or if they're playing a large character that can easily go past 30%.

I need help approaching with charizard

From what I remember, I think Charizard's Flamethrower does get a bit of a bounce from wavebouncing. It's not much, but it is enough to be useful for spacing, but Neutral-B wavebounces are so hard that I've given up on using it consistently. Unless you find some way to do it >90% of the time...

Pokemon Trainer: an In-Depth Analysis & Guide

I can't seem to do this Charizard infinite thing. So it's just full jump, uair, double jump, uair, double jump, uair, etc.? I'll keep trying >_< Also Card, it's a small thing for PT, but you should add wavebouncing. It's not terribly useful for Squirtle, but Ivysaur's Razor Leaf and...

    Vs. Marth

I rely heavily on my Ivysaur to beat Marth. Just play the spacing game with him - bair is particularly good for this, as it outranged his fair easily. Use Razor Leaf to pressure him, and watch for the opportunity to shieldgrab when he's in close. All in all just play it safe. Remember you...

    Squirtle's Water Gun

Mm...I haven't actually tried it against a Falco, but I guess Water Gun stops the movement of illusion, freezing Falco in his recovery and letting him fall to his death? Sounds like it would work. Also, Squirtle can seriously mess with Lucas' and Ness' recovery with this. I laugh so hard...

    Purple Pikmin Abuse

Enjoy recovering with two Purple Pikmin in your lineup.

Could the competition scene in Brawl possibly fade away to nothing?

Give it time guys...remember how long it took for wavedashing to be found in Melee. That being said, Nintendo does seem to have tried to move more towards a fun party game, intead of creating a competitive fighting game. Still... there's hope. Even if it doesn't become as competitive as...

    Pokemon Trainers biggest flaw

Air switching would be lame... your opponent would have to kill you by getting you off the screen or it's automatically Charizard coming back with his awesome recovery. And to those of you saying to shield or dodge as soon as you get out, good luck. It won't take many battles before your...
