This is just a thread to see if anybody attends Northern Illinois University. I also found out there is a small tournament Friday November 20'th that I will not be able to attend.

I have a ton of trouble playing against a good Peach. She can float over Olimar's throws and forward/down smashes and her aerials have more priority than his.

Obviously the Santa Suit Olimar is the best, no question. Anyone who says leopard print Olimar is getting punched in the throat.

I remember hearing or reading about the downward DI+tether recovery somewhere before with Olimar. I don't see why It wouldn't work for him. One problem I have is that I usually DI up on horizontal attacks, maybe its just a habit, but if you don't get that quick tether off, being below the ledge...

I've only played one Game and Watch a long time ago, so I don't know how well I can say Olimar does against him. But I just kept my spacing, grabbed, and pikmin tossed, not horribly difficult. When you're playing GaW (really most characters) you don't want to roll because his attacks last so...

I would hardly say that Donkey Kong has an advantage over Olimar. If anything I think Olimar has an advantage over DK, from my experiences at least. You can space yourself out of basically all of his attacks and still have your fsmash and throws work (as long as it isn't a purple pikmin...

Any stage where you can stay below your opponent is good for Olimar, like Battlefield or Lylat Cruise, especially against a character like ROB who is so hard for Olimar (at least for me...) I think Luigi's Mansion is pretty is good unless you're playing G&W or ROB, who counter picked it every...

I can't really think of much to improve on for you, I definitely didn't expect Zelda to be that good xD I'm sure if you played a higher tier character you would have beat me. The games would be a lot better if we weren't playing online too.

DSF is an Olimar player, so my vote goes to him. There are some videos of him on Gimpy's channel on youtube. KishPrime has a really good Olimar too, but no videos of him.
