Rate their Chances: the DLC Edition. Day: 192: The final day

Alpha Stages: Chance: 1% This is a feature that would mainly please those players interested in the game from a competitive standpoint, and we all know what Sakurai thinks of that. I think For Glory and Omega Stages were something only added to make competitive players shut up. Want: 100%...

Smash Wii U The stages in Smash 4 are ridiculous!

I'm a casual player who enjoys simpler stages as well. Sometimes I am in the mood for wacky and zany, but other times I want something more focused.

    Lucina Thread [Closing]

I might just be crazy, but I realized part of the reason why I like the Robin x Lucina couple. I just re-read Lord of the Rings, and I came to the realization the RobinxLucina pairing is, in a way, very similar to the romance between Faramir and Eowyn. It's obviously not the same thing, but...

Vectoring: The replacement to Directional Influence in Smash 4

This change does make sense when you consider Sakurai's philosophy of removing mechanical complexity. VI, despite the complaints of competitive players, is much more natural and intuitive than DI to new and casual players. Sakurai is basically rewarding the casual player's natural instincts to...

Vectoring: The replacement to Directional Influence in Smash 4

The mechanics of any character's VI would always be the same though, and regardless of what character you're playing, you'd want to VI away from combos and toward the stage. All that would vary is how effective certain characters are at doing that. I see giving different characters different...

Vectoring: The replacement to Directional Influence in Smash 4

For no good reason? It could be a factor in a character's balance. How much control a character has over their knockback would simply be another factor to mull over when choosing a character, like their speed or kill potential. Or am I missing something here?

Vectoring: The replacement to Directional Influence in Smash 4

What would be so bad about it, I'm curious?

Vectoring: The replacement to Directional Influence in Smash 4

There's something I'm curious about. Forgive me if this has been addressed, but is it possible that different characters can exert different amounts of VI? If that were the case, this might make things rather interesting. If Little Mac is able to exert more VI than say, Bowser, then that would...

Vectoring: The replacement to Directional Influence in Smash 4

It's also important to note that there is something that can be done with Smash 4 that couldn't be done with previous Smashes--patches. If VI does prove to be a problem, rather than throwing tantrums, it might be worth a shot to try and bring these concerns to Nintendo's attention. Nintendo can...

Vectoring: The replacement to Directional Influence in Smash 4

I think the name Vector Influence, or VI, would make the most sense as a name. It describes what's happening perfectly. It might not be a huge deal. Wouldn't we need to know just how much VI you can actually exert at low percentages? Also, is the amount of VI you can exert the same for all...

    The Latest Smash Theme

The new theme is far better than Brawl's. Brawl's theme felt inappropriate for a silly and light-hearted game like Smash. The new one gets you pumped up without sounding like the game takes itself too seriously.
