    Evo Schedule Released

That is pretty ridiculous. It shouldn't matter if there are two smash games or not. The order should strictly be based on interest

We will be hosting weekly smash 4 tournaments at High Tide Games in Lexington Park, MD. Casuals for other games are welcome. The store closes at 9, so we may only be able to get 3 hours or so in, but eventually we will start doing monthlies. This is meant to be our weekly training ground to grow...

How do I punish the roll with ZSS?

I play against a ness regularly and have basically given up roll battles. Like DeLux said most times it just isn't worth the squeeze. Especially when it will lead to death against a back throw by ness. I usually try short hop Nair/spot dodge jab combo if I read a throw against other opponents...

    Data Falco Patch History

I agree with both. I just read this somewhere else and updated my post. Fair will still pull them down, but it will shoot them to the side and up a little. It's still useful in some situations.

    Data Falco Patch History

Is it just me or are the lasers a little faster? So far that is the only thing that stood out to me, but it may be because its still early in the morning. You all notice this or anything else? Edit: Noted by some other users. Dair has very little start up lag now. Also opponents will fall out...

    Falco First Impressions Thread

He is far from the worst. I feel like he has more options overall in this one. Phantasm and fair are great for edge guarding. His shine is great for reflecting and messing up approaches. Bair is great for killing. His recovery options are insane (especially on stages you can jump off walls). So...

    Falco's fair can gimp.

Wow I just started using this a lot more and the results have been crazy. Had a few sacrificial kills with fast falling a little too hard, but overall good results. Thank for the tip.

Smash Wii U So... About using a 3DS as a controller for the Wii U...

I hope they provide support for NES max controllers soon.

    Meta Falco: Approaches and Combos/Strings

So funny I was thinking about posting this thread this morning. For approaching I have mostly been doing spaced bairs and nairs. I feel like Nair is easy to confirm into a jab string also. Early in the game I tend to use the shield to read how the opponent will approach since it is fairly safe...

So Just How Viable is Footstooling?

Unless they don't have a third jump like Yoshi.

    The "Main Characters" thread

Well I plan on trying everyone, but right now these two are my mains for sure. Falco: Melee/ Brawl/ Project M main. He looks terrible so I feel the need to represent him. Little Mac: Looks like an insanely fast ground based character. Looks more like a lot of fun to play if I can keep myself...

New to the forum... kind of

Hello all, My name is Shane and I have been playing smash bros since the n64 one came out many moons ago. I remember reading about the game in EGM and counting the days until it came out. During the n64 and melee days I would play in small tournaments just between my friends, but when brawl...

    Smash 3DS Omega stages

I believe the omega form is the Final Destination version of each stage. If that is true then yes every stage has one and it would just be the same background with one platform in the middle.

Smash 3DS Playing on a normal 3DS VS the XL

I agree with waiting for the new 3DS. The regular model will be slightly bigger and the xl will be the size of the current xl model. The regular 3ds feels comfortable enough to me now and I feel in tournaments the larger screen won't be as big of a deal if you are mainly doing 1v1. Of course if...
