    I mean, I joined in because of the thread but I STAND BY MY STATEMENTS I've always been of the mindset that "Play however you want, but don't ***** and expect it to be the game you (smashboards) want it to be. It's purpose is a party game, that's all. and quit it with the scrub ****."

    so "competitive players" were disappointed at a party game. I, too was disappointed at FFXII (that's how you saw 12, rite?) for not being a porn. an extreme example, but you get it, I'm sure. Play how you want, but dont get surprised when it isnt what you wanted it to be.

    you're forgetting that it isn't as if Smashes goal is to make everything balanced. I can see your complaints, but keep in mind that this isn't a "traditional-it-tries-to-keep-everything-balanced-tier-list" type of game.
