Smash Wii U WV Smash 4 Spring 2016 Power Rankings

Makes me wish I was a WV player so I could be on this dope-ass PR lol.

I was under the impression there weren't any Bat Within frames at the end of dodges.

If they're at high percents and I hit them with a grounded side b, but the kick at the end misses, they often try to drift away from me with an airdodge. If I expect this and look for it, I can react and throw out an Fsmash and hit them when they land.

Bayonetta Combo & Followup Thread! [WIP]

It's a quarter circle forward input, like Hadouken. So hit down, then hit sideb.

Bayonetta Combo & Followup Thread! [WIP]

I see. I didn't understand how the second WT differed until recently so I haven't properly explored how it affects follow-ups like ABK.

ABK seems less consistent as it relies more on their percent/positioning/DI than a second WTw.

Bayonetta Combo & Followup Thread! [WIP]

After doing a second Witch Twist near the top blastzone, is it better to fair or upair to try and net the kill? I'm inclined to believe upair is better since they can fall out of the fair 123 combo, but wasn't positive.

It looks like the Lucas didn't drift at all after getting hit the first time, so doesn't really seem like a trap to me. You'd need to predict which direction they're going in order to get the Twist.

    Let's Talk About Witch Time

Has shield breaking during Witch Time been discussed? Saw this on my feed: https://twitter.com/ikep334/status/698456691856179200 Since the slowdown causes their shieldstun to be longer as well, you can lock them into shield and break it before they can roll/drop shield. Idk if the video had a...

    Let's Talk About Witch Time

There's not really a point in intentionally triggering it. Just treat it like super-armor; it's nice when it hits, but its better to get the invincibility instead.

The issue I have with using ABK and WTw to move around is the carry-over lag you receive from using the moves. When you land, you're getting anywhere from ~10-30 frames of landing lag (depending on how many special moves you used), which will definitely lead to punishes once people start...

From D1's tweet it seems like dash grabs only whiff if you try to do it while already directly behind Bayo. I imagine the grab hitbox is actually reaching past Bayo due to her stance. If you space yourself away from Bayo first and then dash grab, it'll connect. (Haven't tested yet so can't confirm.)

Q&A Bayonetta Technique Compendium and Q&A

Make sure you don't hold b when you do the first Witch Twist. Holding B will cause you to fire bullets, which gives your later IASA frames and thus you can't jump out as soon.

So This Happened to my friend and I. We have no idea how it happened

From what I understand its just a universal 'bug' with how slanted edges are handled by the game when you're launched at weird angles. Normally you'd hit that edge coming from the right (i.e. getting stage spiked) so the game does some math and changes your launch angle accordingly, sending you...
