Ready to crush some babies!- The Heavy(TF2) Support thread

Take a look at this: https://twitter.com/HotGirlVideos69/status/1278686299587739648?s=20 She says there's a Valve-RELATED announcement, as if Valve themselves weren't announcing anything. The months seem to line up, Team Fortress is a beloved IP, and Heavy's inclusion would sure be...

"Under the Southern Cross, Anything is Possible!" | Mike Jones Support Thread

As a matter of fact, we did find out. Unfortunately, all Gulliver says is basically "Thank you so much! You're such a kind person!" More than anything, it's likely just a nod to Startropics that the writers put in. I'll keep my eyes open for any other references, though.

100% real. I did a double-take when I saw it and I even googled it to make sure they weren't referencing anything else.

Nintendo hasn't made a Startropics reference in years! What are they up to?

It's also worth noting that Sakurai said pretty much the same thing in the Terry presentation.

https://twitter.com/JonComms/status/1204319685401042944 Jon from GameXplain usually has insider info. If he says that the fifth fighter could be a "literally who", that looks good for Mike.

It's a bit of wishful thinking, but there will be around 10 games announced at the VGA this year. What if...one of them was Startropics? Aha haha, just kidding...unless...? Also, found this artwork of Mike that I wanted to share. It looks real good!

"Under the Southern Cross, Anything is Possible!" | Mike Jones Support Thread

Ooooh, now that IS interesting! It seems like that interview is the brightest glimmer of hope for our hero. If Tanabe really does take it upon himself to resurrect games made by Takeda, Startropics being next just makes the most sense. Takeda directed and wrote the games, making them his...

Do you have a link to that interview? I'd like to take a look at it.

Hypothetically, if Startropics were to come back, would you prefer a "Link's Awakening" style reboot for both games or would you prefer 3D, open-world Startropics game?

I think what they meant is not all Pokemon data will be in Sword and Shield TO BEGIN WITH. My theory is that they'll start adding more and more variety of Pokemon to raids.

I really love just how happy and jovial Banjo looks in his gameplay. It's almost as if the character is a living entity, trying so hard to have joined the ranks of the best characters that video games have seen, only to fail over and over. Now that he finally succeeded, he can't wipe that smile...
