Off stage down air is one of my favorite moves! I get so much mileage out of it! Depending on the opponents recovery it is so good at keeping them at bay. I will not stand for this blasphemy. Quit using it on stage and take over the edge and recover from oblivion!

Wait, is the idea that for those low recovery characters Ridley should do the up-B but just continue past the stage to trade? Like don't hold up to grab the ledge because the trade will save us anyway?

It is too bad that Down Air isn't very useful on the ground but does anyone else use it off stage? Against most of the cast I find it to be absolutely essential to Ridley play. Also if Skewer counts as a grab does it go through counters now?

I find surprise dAirs on stage but especially off stage(like 99% of the time) to be extremely effective. I feel like it does wonders against so much of the cast off stage. Some characters are harder to exploit that way but I'm certain the move was intended off the ledge. When I read posts here...

I really need help against Duck Hunt. I finally played a really good player but just could not get around the Tin Can and the Clay Pigeons. Is it just wrong to shield the pigeons? It's just so hard for me to get around those projectiles.
