Ok, so after playing Smash a bunch this weekend, it took me 9 hours to unlock all the characters as quickly as possible. And it was such a miserable experience with these arbitrary distance values and 10 minute rule. If people want to unlock the characters fast, then let them do it fast. But...

Well, if this is true, then that is disappointing to hear. I always thought that the taunt limit in Smash 4 was the best of both worlds. It prevents taunt parties, but also keeps taunting in the game. Also, Captain Falcon is literally unplayable online now.

I am too excited for Ultimate to come out. It makes the wait way harder, especially since it is so close, yet so far.

I'll be using a GameCube since that is what I have been using since Melee, as well as every Smash game since then.

Honestly, I would say that you should worry less about the character you choose, and worry more about how you play. If someone keeps spamming something, and it keeps working against you, then it means that you need to worry more about how to deal with the move as opposed to switching to a...

After unlocking a character, if you close the game and restart it, it bypasses the timer, allowing you to unlock another character right away. Not sure if the day 1 patch will fix that little exploit, but I hope not.

I play as characters that I find fun to play, or are from series that I actually enjoy.

I play a bunch of fighting games super casually. Lately it has been Dissidia NT and BBTAG, with some FighterZ on the side. Been trying to get my friends to give Rev 2 a shot though.

I am gonna be paying for online so that I can play some Monster Hunter and of course Smash when it comes out. And the occasional Splatoon. I am just glad it is so cheap compared to XBL and PSN. But Nintendo defintely needs to step up their game from here on out.
