Subspace Emissary seems to have aged really well, I remember not too many people being that crazy over it when it released, but no one really has anything bad to say about it. Or maybe it was just the group of friends I had at the time? I dunno. Fight me irl. But not really D: If Shovel Knight...

Ditto here. Finals are murder, man.

Linearity doesn't bother me as long as the gameplay is good. I think a lot of what turned me off from Final Fantasy XIII was how bad the combat was.

Speaking of, I picked up the first two Witcher games but have yet to actually get around to them. Are they worth going through, or?

I played the first one, though it was the remastered PSX version, and I never beat it. I've been meaning to just go through all of the Final Fantasy games, but haven't had much luck getting my hands on physical copies of the earlier ones. You have great taste. <3

I've played like, all the Final Fantasy games from VI to XIII, and yeah, they're quite an investment. VII and IX are about 40 hours each, give or take, even longer if you want to get all the optional things (please don't kill yourself trying to get the Excalibur II. It's not worth it D: ) X is a...
