    Official 3.5 Bowser changes thread.

For those talking complaining about being unable to reverse Bowser's up-b, you can easily do either RAR - FH or dashdance turnaround - FH. It's a teeny bit slower than if you could just b-reverse it, but it's still perfectly usable. No reason to ever even try to go for the FH facing away from...

Midwest [May 9, 2015] DIRTY D.Y.T Monthlies! WiiU, P:M, Melee, & Brawl (Kettering, OH)

Myself and my little brother are both going to this and we can definitely take at least one person with us from Columbus, and 2 if people want to squeeze/we don't need to bring my CRT. Peppy do you think we'll need the setup? Please contact me either here on on Facebook if you still need a...

    Discussing 3.5 changes!

With space animals being much better this patch I would have actually preferred the old Up-B for dealing with pressure.

    Glide Alternative Suggestions?

Like I suggested in the skype chat before, if this were to occur I'd love to see it be a normal multi hit move with minimal endlag when you use the move normally, but pressing B again will cause an explosive hit equivalent to current glair's final hitbox. Using the explosive hitbox would put us...

    Glide Alternative Suggestions?

So as you may or may not be aware, my fellow dragonlings, Metroid has responded to our inquiries about the problems of new glide. So now we're aware that new glide was largely a function of a necessary change in coding. With this being the case, we've been brainstorming some glide...

    Discussing 3.5 changes!

I used fair a lot in the 3.02 as well. The lingering hitbox was super good. That being said, new fair is definitely better. The sour spot is quite good for comboing, though less good than the old one... but the speed at which the hitbox comes out definitely feels faster. I know it wasn't stated...

    Discussing 3.5 changes!

It's(glair waveland) super telegraphed now with the obvious startup animation and necessary ultra precise spacing. I also don't see how the glair waveland will be a consistent form of pressure when Glair is actually negatively disjointed minus the final hit. A mario player actually jabbed me out...

    Discussing 3.5 changes!

Except that the glide nerf didn't really hurt his recovery at all. what it hurt was his neutral game with the loss of glide tomahawk/glair mixups as well as the loss of many of his ATS, and his combo finishing potential with glair as a finisher on opponents who DI away from aerial combos.
  10. Q

    Discussing 3.5 changes!

Like many have said before, new glide and glair are awful, killing much of our finishing power from vertical combos against opponents who DI correctly. This also removes many of our ledge options, no longer allowing us to do instant glair from the ledge or lagless glide cancel to stage. Overall...

How does one turn around mid-glide as Charizard?

For the purposes of this move, the y button acts as the b button. In order to turn it around, you hold the other direction and press B. To reverse your momentum, you press B and and then flick the stick behind you within 3 frames of pressing B. To turn reverse your momentum facing the same...
  12. Q

So my buddy says charizard is OP.

Actually pretty much any character can punish nair if they can predict you're going to do it(I presume you're talking about RAR nair). Like Link's up-b, nair is comprised of one hitbox in total, so if they shield the initial hit they can wavedash in out of shield and punish with literally...

Overswarm is right. You should cut PM and Smash 4 from your tournaments and only host League of Legends for future events.

[Jan 3, 2015] Cincinnati Smash Revival Biweekly (Mason, Ohio)

Well not 90% exactly, but 90% of the people who were vocal about it. Which means that there are a great many who feel very strongly against it, and not many who felt strongly for it.
