I was trying out the new dash attack, it sends them like nowhere at low percentages (I guess like most other dash attacks in the game, actually, that's probably why they changed it). Need to test with people to see how viable it is, but Kirby might be able to set up a throw after the last hit...

Just something to keep in mind, meteor canceling has a 20 frame fail window now, so they can't mash up+b when you meteor them with d-air. Should make d-air edge guarding more effective.

I agree on both accounts, I missed quite a few kill opportunities when I had him offstage, and I could have caught those retreating dashes (when he was baiting out my dash attack) with air hammer. Another thing I noticed: I did not mix up my tech chases enough, he teched towards the ledge...

This is a bit of a false equivalency. Motions in fighting games are there to force players into a chain of inputs which may limit what else they can do at the same time. For instance, if Ryu is inputting a fireball or shoryuken, he can't block for the 4 frames it takes to input the motion, or...

Falcon got a grab buff but he still has to do a perfectly space dash grab to hit crouching Kirby. He has to space it so that he passes through Kirby a bit and hit with the grab sphere behind his character model.

OH my god his new uptilt is bugging me out, hitstun lasts for sooooooo long you can do uptilt into ground hammer on fox at certain percents and it's a true combo.

Just a random thing to know, Zsuit's new non-tether grab/dash grab won't catch kirby crouching at all. Don't remember if her old grab did or not.

I don't know how much people have experimented with the new down throw but it seems like he gets tech chases on every character , even ones that used to be weird like Mewtwo just go right to the ground. Will have to test in actual match conditions to see how consistent it truly is but I'm liking...

Thanks for all the matches guys, this is the third tourney since I started to take PM seriously and finally didn't go 0-2 in pools. I haven't felt this excited about a fighting game in a while, and I'm gonna continue to improve with Kirby.

Hi, I am going to this event and will be there by 10am with a setup (installed the pac file with Bowsers Revenge). This is my first smash tourney in a while but since Project M has Kirby in it I want to start taking this game more seriously. See ya there.
