i run into this problem alot. just have to outcamp. approaching is good with the mortar slide but dont get caught by chain throw, it racks damage fast.

When i use down tilt, i find it pretty easy to follow up with an up aerial or a shine. If the shine is close enough to the edge you can follow up with more shine for a gimp kill or something.

I didn't say he was the best, but i don't really care. I just mentioned it as an example of how skill can overcome a tier.

I team with Falco. Falco arrow laser spams as Snake crawls under them to dtilt or ftilt, if timing is better than mine and my partners. Or they can compine the greatness of their projectiles to outcamp the opponent to death.

Im afraid ill get bothered about this post but. If they are spamming, wouldn't it get predictable and be easy to perfect shield while approaching. OF course you need to be weary of a smash attack. I do it to my friend's falco when he starts to lose and starts doing it.

Hmm... Im pretty new here but i play link and i would say stick with it become great and embarass others with a link three stock. He is actually not a bad character, IMO, other than his pretty bad recovery.
