If you're having trouble spacing make sure you are using the control stick for Fairs instead of the A button. Retreating Fairs are super safe and can bait "out of shield" reactions.

In my opinion, perfect pivoting into shield is super important in this matchup for Rosalina. Perfect pivoting towards Ryu will protect Luma and completely throw off his aerial spacing/combos, and perfect pivoting away from Ryu will allow you to mix him up. Don’t be predictable, don’t perfect...
