yea what the crap were they thinking? Screwing up her special weapons (beams, missiles, and bombs)... those are some of the attacks that define the character that is Samus - messing those up just turns her into another generic punch kick character (or more so at least).

I know what it is - I was just thinking that zero won't have to jump to get smash balls above her - she'll be able to "beat on it" with her up-b, while keeping herself very able to juggle around opponents

I bet that her up b really helps her get her suit back

I want to see a specific update directed at the competitive smash scene. Where the the title of the post is like Competitive Smash and we are told something for sure that lets us know what the hell is going on with the developers and their thoughts about competitive smash.
