    More random fox questions

I believe the air dodge is as a replacement to another side-b which could hit with another jab, since it lets you get on stage safely.

    My dream

You'll push them back and shield poke or force them to roll before you'll break their shield.

    More random fox questions

For your second question, PPMD and Zhu actually talked about it, and yeah, people can SDI the first jab and airdodge onto the stage, Mang0 does it a lot. That seems hard though. It's probably more because you cover that in addition to pushing them further down.

    Short hopping

I had a problem with it until I just swapped my mindset. Instead of thinking of pressing the button fast, I thought of releasing the button fast. Of course it should be obvious since unless you release the button you won't short hop, but it helped me for some reason.

Should I main Fox or Falco

Dual main myself. I learned Falco more in the beginning to get more competitive at locals, but most of my focus goes into Fox. Honestly the simplest answer is just play who you have the most fun with.

    Possible New LInk Tech

I like to do this out of moonwalks for stylish edgehogs in friendlies.

Is it ok to main a bottom tier?

I feel it. If they go Sheik I'll probably swap to Fox or Falco, friendlies or not.

Is it ok to main a bottom tier?

Now a question for you, since I'm interested in Zelda as a pocket for friendlies. How do you make her work in Melee? I always get **** on by Sheiks or Foxes, and not for lack of trying.

Wannabe Fox main looking for guidance and training routines to improve movement!

This is actually something worth doing with all the characters, in my experience. It's really nice for keeping your dash dance tight, and keeping your options open so you're not bottlenecked into 1 or 2 approach options.

Is it ok to main a bottom tier?

Dual spacies main myself, usually I'll only warm up one of the two before a tournament. However, the two spacies are different enough, and especially the spacies from other characters, that your muscle memory should be fine. Sometimes you do need to warm back up though, especially if you were...

Wannabe Fox main looking for guidance and training routines to improve movement!

Another thing to consider is that the timing for L-canceling drill can be tough at first, but it's the easiest move to shine after, IMO. Just practice doing it on nothing, on shields, and on characters.

    Fox vs. Marth matchup?

This can be a hard matchup if you're on FD, since the CG can be inescapable (as far as I know) if they do it perfectly. When you're going for SHDL make sure you're at a safe distance, and fast enough to react to them approaching. As far as baiting goes, Marth isn't the only person with a...

Exactly how grimy is it to chaingrab someone on their last stock after agreeing not to?

if CGs are on, go to town, but if you agreed not to, and you're on game 5 last stock then you start CGing, not only are you a bad person, the next time you play that person I promise you they'll CG on the first stock to the last stock.

Is it ok to main a bottom tier?

There's no problem with maining a low tier character. The only thing I can say, is that if you start complaining after a loss and blame it on your character, you're officially that guy. It's not the winner's fault you're playing a low tier. That being said, the low tiers are low tiers for a...

    Fox's Worst Matchup?

Fox is Fox's worst MU. Fox always wins. Nah but serious answer though. I think Fox struggles the most with Marth, but only on FD. That CG can be brutal, and if you get sloppy, the Marth can just DD away from everything and then punish you with a grab.
