Quick question, didn't want to make a new thread. My local tournament allows default Miis to be used, but requires 2-2-2-2. Is this standard? Other customs are not allowed, so I'm fine with not allowing a variety of customs for Mii characters, but why not 1-1-1-1?

Everyone else has already said it, but you just need to forget about PM/Melee when you're playing. As alike as PM and Melee are, Smash 4 is an entirely different game. Make it an easy transition for yourself. Play for fun, if you're having fun then try and get better. If not, that's alright...

A vast majority of people that are fans of Nintendo grew up with Nintendo. If someone grew up with Master Chief and their XBox, that's where their nostalgia will lie. The only thing you can really do is share and discuss the great library of Nintendo titles when the opportunities present...

Is this real? Has anyone even been to a tournament? Double elim, you're late for your set you lose THAT SET. Them being put into losers makes total sense and the fact that nobody could take them out just goes to show how solid they are.

For me, it's Super Mario RPG for the SNES. I've probably played it once a year for the past ~17 years. Such a fascinating story and even though it's turn-based, the timing in the battle systems keeps it from being slow. And of course, the melee.

Like, forever? Well, guess I won't be checking this out then.

This was a great event and I'll definitely be coming to the next one!
