something that's been in the back of my mind since the doom/mallow (or should i say doomallow) leak started going around is the thought of: what if the Mallow mii costume is real, and it gets announced in the upcoming presentation... ..alongside the Geno mii costume? that's the worst case...

with the challenger pack 5 stuff - has anyone else tried putting the page for that pack through the Wayback Machine? i've tried the nintendo UK page for pack 4 and the previously linked page for pack 5, and neither worked due to just being excluded from archival. but maybe there's some variant...

wasn't sure if i should've expected the costume or not, though at the same time i'm surprised (and glad) that it hasn't shown up! it could very well be geno's time soon, after all these years..

i think this hint's definitely Geno-related given the timing - if it isn't i'll be surprised - but part of me feels like this could really be for anything; a mario RPG remake, the mii costume, a surprise Smash reveal, another cameo in some new Mario game or something like that, its tricky to say...

might be a bit late here but i always thought the background could be from the Trophy Viewer, with this being Geno's fighter trophy from Classic mode or something. its the only thing i can think of that'd make sense, since i can't really imagine a scene like this showing up in a reveal trailer...

is it the same model?? i'm comparing the two and they seem fairly different from each other, and that artist did make a couple Geno renders in the past
