TOing on the day isn't super hard IMO, most of the work is the prep for the logistics beforehand. If you're set up with a good structure for the day then you'll have less work for yourself when the tourney happens. If you're interested in TOing you should definitely check Juggleguy's guide out...

I don't know much about the Cork scene or anyone down there tbh, they don't really attend anything outside of Cork
