The position of the buttons and what they do other than the aforementioned is exactly the same, and I have long fingers so the 3DSXL still fits like a glove.

Just fine. It's about the same as the GC controller for me other than missing the shortcut for Smash attacks and having to use R+A for grabs instead of just Z (I know there's L, but it's a pain in the ass to dedicate a finger on it).

I was greatly disappointed when I realized this.

I have yet to play with anyone here and I would bet good money most of you will kick my arse, but I did good in For Glory today. 114 wins and 21 losses, most of which were due to sticking to closely matched rivals for hours (so plenty of victories and some defeats too). I'm content so far...

I got that error two or three times when trying to get into a 1 vs 1 For Glory match, but every time I just clicked the thing again and it worked.

I said "screw caution" and jumped onto the Online train right away. =P

I welcome the penalty with open arms. Sure, on occasion my connection might just fail and I'll be stuck waiting for 10 minutes afterwards, but that's a low price to pay if we get less imbeciles fleeing the matches. By the way... when your opponent does that, do you get a victory or is it just a...
