How do you beat a lucas?

You might try using aura sphere as a screen for approaching--even though they have the ability to absorb the hits, you can still use it as a means of getting close enough to start a combo or at least get off aura blasts. Later on you might then charge up aura sphere and just hold onto it for...

Official Lucario Guide/FAQ/Database. XD Sorry I haven't updated in while! Soon!

I wouldn't go that far. Utilizing ranges is important, but the first hit makes up a considerable amount of the damage of the attack and the actual gap between the tip and getting both hits is fairly small. If I'm going to go through the trouble of hitting with a fsmash I'd rather get both hits.

Official Lucario Guide/FAQ/Database. XD Sorry I haven't updated in while! Soon!

I'm maining Lucario also, so goahead and add me to the list as well. I don't have any fanboy reasons for wanting to play him, just that he seems natural for my playstyle. Getting good with him takes a lot of work though. While he excels in grappling and being able to string attacks, his...

    Lucario's Double-Team: A second trait?

There isn't anything special revealed by IGN's wording. Doubleteam's counterattack is a sliding kick that has a significant distance, making it rather easy to hit several people if you're in the thick of things.

Is Lucario over powered, or broken?

Straight through, which is somewhat regrettable. But, you can steer it to the point where he's one of the few character who don't need to panic too much if they get stuck under the ledge.

do you think Lucario would be best for beginners?

Giving your opponents free % on you is a bit absurd don't you think? At most I could see doing it once as a bluff to make an opponent overconfident. That, and his weak hits do have some purpose to them. ;knockback early on is so low that Lucario can chase early on. Opponent depending...

    Forward-B Spike?

It's situational, I think. Although they seem to be fewer, there are still invulnerability frames when you grab the ledge meaning you'd most likely have to do it to punish a lazy edgehogger or if you're really good, someone who wants to chase and aerial KO you.

Double Team: ways to use Lucario's Down B effectively (MORE ADDED)

Lucario will counter it, but the position and direction he counters in is based off of where he gets hit and the direction he's facing at the time. I'd be curious to see if reverse countering has any viability, since it would let lucario ultimately go towards his enemy with some temporary...

Ganon is just like how he was in melee.

Something to add for Ganon's side-b: Some characters that are hit by this move are large enough that you can hit them with an f-tilt attack immediately afterwards. This is quite important, as that ****ed tilt has some of the most ridiculous horizontal knockback in Brawl.

    Falcon forum is top tier

Ehh, if the character forum sucks so what? I suppose it doesn't help but as far as playing a character the Ike board looks like it's missing a few chromosomes doesn't mean I'm going to not play Ike. The funny thing is that as much as I was looking forward to Ike, I'm actually not enjoying...

    Lucario's double team

I'd say more towards the beginning--the starting lag on it is kind of short, but the end lag is pretty ugly. Also, the attack comes in the reverse direction that he's facing when he gets hit--so if he is facing right, Lucario will appear doing his attack from the right and move towards the left...

do you think Lucario would be best for beginners?

I'd say Lucario isn't so good for beginners, because he strikes me as being a rather technical character. He's got reach, but his attacks are rather weak at the low percents where new players will survive at, until they start to learn DI and such. Then there's the special moves: Doubleteam(...

    Somebody please test this.

As far as I can tell, air dodging doesn't really affect momentum when you're not being sent away by an attack--an air dodge when you come out of the dair will see you dodging just as you start to fall. The thing that's funny about lucario is that even though his hits are weak early in his...

    Best And Worst Matchups

Hmm.. Ike's character speed doesn't help him compared to other characters, but on the other hand the large range and/or arcs on the varying attacks is a reasonable compensator. I've been playing for about a week now on my roomate's import Wii/copy. The first few hours of playing Ike sees a...

Good for a laugh or at least a facepalm
