Well yeah, after the game launched and the roster was revealed I wasn't expecting Medusa to be a DLC character, for obvious reasons. So I'm not 'that' disappointed, but I'd love to be able to play as my queen. Maybe in the next Smash, but we all know it won't be as good as Ultimate.

Smash could easily be a game as a service, updating it from time to time with new characters, stages and such and it'd be fine for most people. :P Then we could get any characters we want! (?) An Echo pack would be nice, though. Also this, enter at your own discretion...

Well, if we think of it like that (which is a way to retroactively add Hades), it would create a sort of big plot hole of sorts. In KIU Medusa doesn't know how or why she was revived, which makes no sense if she was always aware of Hades' presence. UNLESS Hades was hidden ALL ALONG and ordered...

You can attribute that to poor writing/planning. In a world where pretty much everyone dies and is brought back again, I don't think many have an existencial crisis and just think of it as an incovenience, kinda like Palutena's army who don't really care if they die, they'll be brought back...
