She is technically correct. The best kind of correct Super Mario RPG was the only Mario game made by Square. The other titles you mentioned were all developed by Square Enix. I know that's kind of splitting hairs but she was technically not wrong.

I think both Geno and Waluigi would have the mushroom icon, I just think they'd have unique / different victory music. With Geno getting a special song unique to him (like Rosalina) and Waluigi getting the one Bowser has.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't they actually tone down Super Mario RPG when it got a Virtual Console release? I know they at least toned down stuff like the Flame Wall attack. Or are you suggesting to go even further than that?

I feel like it's the obvious choice, but I've always imagined Geno's victory theme would just be the first nine notes of "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms" holding on the final note until the animation finishes. To crappily render it in text it'd be someting like: Doodoo doodoodoo doo doo doo doooo

No offense to any KOS-bros out there, but if the Fighter's Pass is going to fizzle out, Nintendo might want to support themselves with those other bombshells after all.

I'm thinking that's a wrap to be honest. It's not like KOS-MOS would go against things like the costume theory, in fact she fits perfectly also. Assuming she's gonna come with Gil (a Namco costume) and the Mega Man ones (more gun robots) Lord knows where the Monster Hunter costumes went though...

Has Sakurai ever said anything about KOS-MOS or Xenosaga specifically?

Here's my question? If confronted at that point, while seemingly willing to share information, why not just say it is KOS-MOS? I'll admit I don't know the ins-and-outs of insider business, but it seems odd to be coy about it now.
