Well at the very least it shows Nintendo has a perfectly fine relationship with Konami and Metal Gear. The only question is when is a Nintendo Direct where they announce that theme for America and Snake as DLC?

Doesn't really sound like something Kojima would do. He's a pretty nice guy. Also, in a recent interview with Raiden from MGS' voice actor he states that David Hayter still plays Snake, just not Big Boss. Could mean he's doing Snake's voice for Smash.

There was a previous post that had this listed as a reason for Snake's inclusion "Namco worker who worked on SSB4 is asked if Snake is back. His exact response is "Um..we have not announced um...Solid Snake yet." now, i seem to remember this, but does anyone have a source? i can't find it...
