Sadly, I feel that is fairly accurate. Olimar is a great character. However, he has one glaring weakness: His recovery. Think how great he could be if we could survive longer.

Ike is a very easy match up if you pay attention. Make him come to you and pay attention to what you are doing.

I think it really depends on your opponent. There have been a few times where I have been knocked pretty far from the stage seemingly out of nowhere. That happens against good Metaknight players more than other characters. I'd say judge each match on a case by case basis.

Diddy Kong also gives me a lot of trouble. You really have to pay attention once his bananas are deployed.

That was a heck of a match. It was the hardest match I've had in a long while. I thought I had you for awhile. I assumed you made it pretty far in the tournament. Congratulations and I look forward to playing you again.

Gimping is fair. It takes a lot to even be put in the position where you could get gimped. Until you are put at a somewhat high damage it is possible to get around it.

Sadly, I placed in the top 16th at the Otakon tournament in Baltimore. I lost to the guy that got 2nd. It was the closest match I've had in a long time. I was the only Olimar player in the 64 capped tourney. I have another tourney in Atlanta next month. I plan on training harder for it.
