Yes.. we know he wasn't lying. Replays are simply a memory of what buttons were pushed during the fight, not what was visually happening. Just a simple mishap of one section that the game's memory messes up in the sequence of buttons you pressed in that match.

If the first Nair is shielded, you're easily susceptible to a grab or any other move depending on who you're Nairing. I'd rather SH then FF an Nair to jab/^b/whatever I find suiting at the moment, regardless if shielding was implemented or not. I rarely use the Nair with the new Samus, though...

Lvl 1 computers. Read up on tactics. Char. specific forums. Also, don't play with items on (though I'm not sure if most brawl tournies are allowing them or not) if you want to really practice. Basically a /agree with pirkid's input.

Default. I keep tap jump on for other characters' sake. Of course it is personal choice, there is no "best" control setting, it's all by your muscle memory so experiment and see what you like. I'm sticking with default because i tried out everything else and default suits my Samus.

Dtilt, utilt, and ^b, not nerfed in any way. You can now easily ^b out of shield. Utilt has more killing potential when not stale, dtilt is situational and I rarely use it, but I'm daring to say it was even buffed a tad bit. And although fsmash is nerfed, it's still a very decently put out...

Thought I'd still stick with Spamus, and did stick with Spamus. Though I've been using Snake a lot as well lately.

The ledge drop to WJ > bair is so fun on FD. I rarely use it on actual people, but when I'm just messing around vs. an AI, I do it all the time. Samus' game on the edge is definitely upped due to the auto ledgegrab in brawl and the autosweet spot with zair. I don't go for the edge to take...
