So, did the stage have this issue BEFORE you edited it? Also, did you try putting it over a different stage, because from my experience, some stages just don't work or have issues when put over certain slots no matter what you do, even if you've used all the correct base rel. files and such...

First, try Formatting your SD card settings to FAT32 with 4096bytes & have the "Quick Format" box selected. After that, try reinstalling PM to your card, which should now be completely empty, making sure that the little switch on the side of the SD card is SLID ALL THE WAY UP in the UNLOCKED...
