How pre-ledgegrab body states affect your ledgedash timing

Should the ECB pretty much look like column 2 (or better) for any side-b, up-b, or double-jump to ledge (no fastfall)? Ideally I would never need to stall after any of these three. The reason I'm not too eager on FF stalling is that it tends to telegraph a ledgedash. You could FF stall before...

How do I pressure Marth better?

I don't know how much you do this already but it's a good idea to mix shine-grabs intto your pressure. When the marth gets caught by it (heavy punish should ensue btw) they will feel more urgency to get out of shield next time they are pressured. They will be more likely to spot-dodge of buffer...

    Q&A -Fox Advice/Questions Topic-

Did you feel that the "slide off" method was limiting you? I currently do that with Y although I claw so it's it works out.

Sick things to do with Fox?

If you ask me the most stylish way to play fox is with a strong neutral and crisp movement. Besides that I like to see combos extended with weak nairs and bairs. Fair to up-smash is also a cool finisher, but usually I see his combos end up with an edgeguard situation rather than something...

Who will be the first Melee God to fall?

I suspect that they will all fall within a relatively close timespan of each other. Or at least, the term God will become outdated as much as king of smash. It's not that their skill will decrease, but other players are all improving. Each additional improvement gets harder and harder as players...

How do you deal with laser camping Falcos?

Thanks dude this is incredibly helpful.

How do you deal with laser camping Falcos?

I've had the same experience. It's also good to keep in mind that shield grabbing is generally pretty bad vs decent falcos, unless they obviously open themselves up with a high dair or missing a multishine. I've found that a lot of intermediate falcos actually have pretty bad pressure so waiting...

How do you deal with laser camping Falcos?

OP stands for "original poster". It's the person who asked how to deal with falcos laser camping from across the stage.

How do you deal with laser camping Falcos?

You're right, but I was replying to the original post, which asks about laser camping falcos on the other side of the stage. The OP is struggling with it, even if it's easily handled at a higher level of play.

How do you deal with laser camping Falcos?

True, but if they are close it's not really camping. For me falcos laser camping means they sit across the stage and wait for you to approach. Of course standing laser does not beat a nearby falco.

How do you deal with laser camping Falcos?

Yes, you definitely have to stop lasering pretty much as soon as they approach. But it still conditions the falco to stop and actually start approaching. And you will get a free 20% or so. One thing I haven't tested is what happens if the falco also stays grounded to laser.
