    Not fun anymore

I know that going to tourneys may seem like a lot of hassle, especially for somebody who's used to playing on FG, but definitely check out anther's ladder: it can still be played on the wii u and you won't need to leave the house, it just allows you play on different stages (not just omega...

Our Fuzzy Neighbors: Further Confusion 2016 (Part 1)

I'm really impressed with how accepting and supportive the smash community is with the whole furry thing. I can't say I understand it myself, but I won't think any less of people who do. Good on you smashboards!

Core-A Gaming: Should We Stop Playing Side-by-Side?

Smash, particularly Melee, is in general a much faster paced game. The example was used of an opponent hearing a hadouken input and potentially being able to react faster as a result, but the same can't really apply to Melee's gameplay. In short, it would be hard to pick up on any inputs being...

    SmashBoards General Interview #1: ZeRo

ZeRo, if you see this, I was wondering if you still played Melee at all? Obviously you'd want to focus on smash 4 given your current success, but do you still ever play friendlies at events or anything?

Melee Might Die: A Rebuttal to "Why Melee Won't Die"

Scary article, a lot of valid points raised... but I think as long as we can find a way to make melee accessible to the new generation, and Nintendo continues to pump out smash games to keep the hype alive, we can keep melee alive. I know of many rnodern-day smashers who don't own a gamecube...

Will Rivals of Aether join the family?

I think Mang0 tweeted saying he's gonna be playing RoA money matches at big house 5, so there's definitely hope for a competitive scene, especially if the mangonation get onboard. I know he's been streaming the game a lot lately :)

Rivals Of Aether Coming To Steam Early Access September 22nd

Soooo hype for this game! I am wondering though, will the smash community adopt it like we did with PM and consider it a smash game? We will be able to select our RoA main on our smashboards profiles?

Will Rivals of Aether join the family?

So I, like many others in the smash community, are hyped for the release of RoA. I've seen various threads regarding it on SmashBoards and many smashers have shown interest in picking up the game and playing it competitively. My question to the boards is, will it ever be accepted into the Smash...

    Smash 4 Controller Lag Comparison

I use the GameCube controller for two reasons: 1) Confusing as hell when going back and forth between Melee & Sm4sh 2) Much more durable than pro controllers. I've gotten through 2 pro controllers alone simply due to excessive dash-dancing lol with that being said, GameCube controllers simply...
