Pokemon Stadium is probably one of Fox's best stages because you can trap your opponent in corners with multishines and it makes it hard for Marth to space hits as well. FD is Marth's best stage. If you're trying to avoid favourable stages for Marth, don't pick FD.

Pummeling because your opponent isn't mashing out is not bad manners, it's called strategy. Your opponent just needs to git gud, and mash out every time.

As far as tech skill goes, dash dancing and wavedashing are always important, but L-canceling is much more important for Sheik imo.
