I like everything that's been written so far about Ryu's fundamentals. Take aways for my style are not to be a rushdown character. Not to be a defensive character, but a control and punish character. Most MU's I am constantly walking towards my opponent, or FADCing various timing and distances...

I watch the first match vs roy only. Bad connection :( I agree with Dante, combo game needs moar. I think you flubbed the dtilt1 x2 xx srk and did an fb instead. You're advice really helped me in a previous thread, advising to walk more. Just that advice alone made my game level up 10X. No 20X...

The main reason I use attack stick is for utilt1, and i'm kinda learning to use ftilt1. I use downA for dtilt1 xx srk.

Good point. I've been using the throw that gives me the most stage control. I wanna test uthrow at low percents. After 20% it's really just reading their options. If you fair off dthrow, they can dodge or jump. If they dodge then it resets, if they jump then you can attempt a trap. Bait the air...

What if... the lost health regenerated as long as you don't get hit!? Just shield it thats the best option. Wait srs can you perfect shield it? So much style. Has anyone seen the new street fighter movies? They're up on netflix, the animation is odd.
