This logic is really bad. That's like saying if Sabi said a Lappy Mii costume is unrelated to fighter #5 that all Nintendo characters are off the table. No, that only means an Astral Chain character would be off the table.

As long as the character doesn't have a sword, I'm pretty sure I'll be content with whoever it is.

What do you think about Steve? While the player character in Minecraft is customizable, Steve is a hugely recognizable icon. I'm not even asking whether or not you want him in Smash, just whether or not he fits what you're talking about.

Bayonetta's reveal was definitely a bang. Her games haven't been that huge, but she's a huge character. She's probably top 10 all-time iconic female video game characters. Plus she was the "ballot winner".

If Capcom didn't already have 3 characters, I'd be 75% confident that #5 is either Jill or Leon. Now I'm thinking 40% Resident Evil character, 40% Namco character, 20% Western character.
