a lvl 7 comp edge teched and wall jumped my shine spike. ive been shine spiked by fox several times trying to phantom back onto the stage going too high over the ledge. comps tend to like to edge tech my attacks now :o. oo and now my firebird has been caped on the edge by a mario cp

tap the control stick down then up DI Towards the stage repeatedly press B. something like that.. if you firebird then you didnt let go of up or pressed b too quickly.. if you phantom i suppose you DI'ed over at the same time u pressed B

I use the control stick but i cant really ever get more than a double shine, but thats all i really need. I got consistent with the control stick for double shining and it seems to come out faser than the Y > B method which is harder for me to do. that and i already favor the control stick :D...

I'd think there wouldn't be cause the timing would be completely different and the moves are of course different and there probably aren't any advanced techniques similar to SSBM in SSB. But good luck searching if you can. i hope you get a new TV soon.

hmm if i have no one to play/train with i like practicing against a lvl 5-7 comp mostly because they don't power shield every single one of my SHLs. also the comp reaction time isnt as insane.. i dont like how lvl 9's grab me everytime i SWD w/ samus
