Bair is the most versatile, since it can be spaced on shield to be pretty safe and can be used for edge guarding. Bair at mid percents combos into itself, and bair bair up b can potentially kill someone off the sides if they DI inward.

How much shield damage does dair do? I doubt it's worth the amount of punishable lag.

The one time I broke a shield with a 9 with G&W I taunted and sweetspot f-smashed. But yeah. It's impossible to break a shield with G&W.

If you're at high% and G&W down throws you, always jump away instead of air dodging. If you air dodge, he'll uair you and most likely KO you. And don't come down with an aerial often, since you'll get up smashed if you get too predictable.

Same goes for Shulk. He gets spiked really easily because his recovery doesn't sweetspot the edge.

Have fair kill way earlier, make at least one of his aerials autocancel out of sh, slightly less KBG on down throw so that I can get down throw up air on stages other than Halberd. (I suck at it so badly.) And make his up tilt hit in front of him.

The point more or less that one of his best options can be completely avoided by crouching. It doesn't mean you'll be crouching every time he approaches you, but it does mean he'll have a lot less times where he gets a grab on you.
