    Design by committee sounds like a pretty bad idea. The fact that you gave Lucina sweetspots when her character design was intended NOT to have those doesn't really give me any confidence that this project is practicing good game design.

    The least-game-impacting items are probably the smokeballs, sandbag, and food, in order of impact. If a competitive mode wanted to include items that weren't smashballs, those would probably be it.

    Sounds unfair to the rest of the tournament players. I guess its for the best since longer matches between the top players makes for better spectating in addition to the increased accuracy.

    There are too many characters in smash for that to work, seeing as each individual character has 20+ moves to know, instead of the usual 4 to 6 moves available to most moba characters.

    Creating an interesting and unique playstyle sometimes means that a character doesn't get moves that represent the series they're from.

    In regards to projectiles, I'm not very convinced of their dominance considering the proliferation of anti-projectile specials among the characters. That's probably why there are so many in the first place!

    Don't feed the trolls. I'm glad that PM exists; players can continue to play their favorite characters and its interesting to see how the development team's balancing efforts evolve over time. At this point though I don't see a reason for anyone to continue playing vanilla brawl.
