    Zard should be pretty easy. He has no safe OoS options, so fair on shield into double jab down b is basically safe. Just get in to him and pressure pressure pressure with djc aerials and jabs.

    Overall, PMDT decided that PM Yoshi is supposed to play like Melee Yoshi,but didn't take into account that he's like double the size in PM and floatier. So basically we're playing Melee Yoshi on Giant Melee and Slowmo mode without parrying or lightshielding, but we can jump out of shield...after...

    The biggest reason why Yoshi can't compete in PM is because he can't do any quick defensive options. He can't jump out of shield for 6 frames, there's no parrying, and his shield only works half the time anyway.

    What you just said is straight up wrong. Yoshi is very bad right now. A lot of his moves have strange hitbox/hurtbox interactions. His best option in neutral is to djc an aerial, which means if he gets hit he's dead. His side-b is worse than melee. And there are numerous bugs with his shield...

    As I've been saying since 3.5, GnW is the best character in this game. His combo followups are automatic, and his throws are dumb. He also has probably the best CC game along with Roy, huge disjoints, and a massive recovery which he can act out of.

    Midstage grabs are really hard to get anything out of. I've been messing around with some stuff to try to get Popo in the air after the handoff as quick as possible. So if you midstage handoff to Nana, then hold shield and up on c-stick, Popo will start jumping on the second possible frame. This...

    I gotta try that grounded fair to footstool stuff. Sounds neat. I usually just go for a second fair if I want to build damage, or a rising bair into nair.

    There's a ton of weird tech that can be down while holding attack and using the c-stick. I don't think much of it is really practical unless you get in a situation where you can buffer attack. I'd keep looking at it though, maybe some of this tech can push ICs.
