Melee has always been one of my favorite games, but it wasn't until Spring 2015 that I started to learn more about competitive play. Between then and making my account, I'd just lurk smashboards. I didn't feel like being a stranger much longer, so I made an account in case of the off chance I'd message somebody or post.
